Meet the Organizer behind Tidy Sense

Hello! My name is Diem Duong, and I am a professional organizer who is ready to accompany you on your journey from chaos and clutter to peace and order. My journey to becoming a professional organizer is a rather long one. I was not born with a "Tidy Sense." It is something I have developed over the years.

I was born in Vietnam and grew up poor during the post-war era. My family had very few belongings, so our house was more bare than neat. When we came to America and started to accumulate more possessions, I did not know how to manage them all. Throughout the years, I had picked up organizing tidbits here and there, but they were not enough to deal with my increased possessions. I often felt frustrated that our house was cramped and cluttered. The need for space and organization got even more pronounced when I became a mother. In search of calm and order, I spent a tremendous amount of time researching and learning many different organizing techniques. I found what worked and what did not work with the space that I have. I also developed some organizing methods that fit best for my husband and each of my four boys. Through this process, I realized that I really enjoy organizing. Thus, I decided to take my organizing skills to the next level and became a member of the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals (NAPO®). I am a NAPO Specialist in Residential Organizing, Workplace Productivity, and Life Transitions.

I get excited when I can look at a mess and know how to tidy it up. Now that I have developed a Tidy Sense, I look forward to sharing it with you. I would like you to experience the same peace that I feel when everything is in its place and to enjoy what you have instead of being burdened by its cluttered presence. As a former cosmetologist, I enjoy working with clients and getting to know them. As a mother of four, I love working with children and believe in the importance of teaching kids organizing habits early. I look forward to getting to know you and your family and walking with you on your journey to develop your Tidy Sense.
